15mm Peter Pig Wild West, from Brookhurst Hobbies, 12188 Brookhurst St., Garden Grove, CA 92460, (714) 636-3580. This is the epitome of indecision. Should I go completely with 15mm or 25mm. Why decide? I bought pretty much one each from the entire Peter Pig Wild West line. This came out to about $500, but included hundreds of figures, wagons, accessories, horses, buildings, and more figures. I'm not going to review these in detail, but for those of you who can decide, Peter Pig 15mm is the perfect alternative to The Foundry 28mm. As far as cost, the Peter Pig version of my above Foundry Wild West would have cost less than half the price for more than half the size. The detail overall is superb and the accessories provide everything you might need without having to scratch build anything. If you are willing to build a few things yourself, you can save even more money and put on a complete and very visual 15mm Wild West game for less than $100. This game would have a couple wagons, lots of cacti, hitching posts, barrels, and maybe 120 figures. If you ask me, that's a lot of a game! No one said this hobby of ours was cheap, but it doesn't have to be as expensive as some of us make it (you don't even want to know what I spent this year alone). Paint the figures yourself, put together and paint the buildings and accessories. Throw a wooly tan blanket on the table and dust it lightly with a couple different flockings, then add some lychen for scrub brush, throw in a couple sandstone or other tan rocks and away you go.
