A problem with the current Europa air system is the ability of bombers flying DAS and harassment missions to avoid air base attacks. I've already taken care of the harassment mission, and I recommend the following for DAS: When the non-phasing player flies his DAS missions in Step 2 above, put a marker on the air base showing the types of planes that flew from there. In Step 3B when the phasing player flies his air base bombing missions, treat those bombers as still being at base for the purpose of the attack. If the phasing player successfully bombs the enemy air base and renders an enemy bomber inoperable, place the appropriate type air unit in an inoperable condition on the air base upon its return in the air return step. If an enemy air unit is eliminated, eliminate a similar type unit from the returning air units. Note that the results of air base attacks have no effect on the ground combats that turn and losses from an air base attack are taken during the air return step, after ground combat has been resolved.
