Note: All movement factors shown are multiplied by six to reflect their use in this module. The printed movement rate is the tactical movement ability. Operational movement is the multiple of six.

Use These Rules Suggestions:

1. Carriers may carry half of their squadron capacity, rounding down, while carrying aircraft as cargo. However,they may not fly any missions until the cargo has been offloaded or flown off.

2. Greek naval units may not form task forces with Allied naval units until the surrender of their country. 3. Ship VP values are 1 VP for a CA/CL/CLA or RE of naval transport, 2 VPs for a BB or CVL, and 3 VPs for a CV. Use these values if you are looking for points to add up to determine victory in War In The Desert. Points are for sinking ships, damage does not count for any points. Feel free to experiment with this rule in your respective games and let us know what works for you and how it works and why it works.

3. British air replacements may not be used for FAA air units.

4. Air units that appear in Malta, now appear in Gibraltar for transport.

5. Damaged aircraft carriers returning to the UK for full repairs, must carry 1 type NVA air units to provide anti- submarine patrols on the way home.

6. British Shipyards are a Gibraltar, Malta, and Alexandria. None are capable of repairing more than one hit of damage. Only shipyards in the US or UK may repair more than 1 hit. Once a ship leaves to be fully repaired, it never returns.

7. For simplicity's sake, a carrier that has withdrawn and returned, has its air group replaced up to its full numbers and types as last given.

8. Type FD air units are treated as fighters of air combat, but as dive bombers for bombing attacks.

9. S and V are prefixes to the basic A and B air unit types. They are treated as their basic type for all air combat and flak purposes.

10. Type SB bombers have a +1 on to hit die rolls against naval targets.

11. Ships in a port halve their AA fire against Europa standard air units.

12. Ships in a port that are attacked by torpeclos have all damage doubled.

SPECIAL NOTE: you have received more counters than are called for. They will be used in the revisions. In a situation where the counters may vary from the ship status charts, the counters are correct.
