Design Information Supermarina is the first naval module that extends the rules and operations usual to Europa games. This is only the first effort and should be viewed as a playtest version of what will eventually become a finished naval system that will be used from the North Sea to Cape Horn. The Mediterranean was chosen as the first place to test this module because of the limited scope of operations and area. We would like to hear from you about this module if you will follow some simple, common sense rules. 1. Any questions must be accompanied by a self- addressed, stamped envelope or we will not respond. These questions must be typewritten. Expect a two to four week delay in getting an answer back, because, operations in the Med. are going to suffer as we ready ourselves for the Second Front. 2. Research data, proving with geometric logic and mathematical certainty, that everything we have written is wrong, is not solicited. Give us a break. If you have data that you feel has a direct bearing on what is going on with the game, let us know. If you want to redesign the module, be our guests. OB's and other data are the best we have at this time. What is represented here is not the final word and we are receiving more info and will update the module as we feel the information warrants. We may have a standing feature in the magazine and it will be through the magazine that you will receive any additional data, updates, and the like. 3. Additional materials for the module will appear when ready. Additional modules (only) are available from GRD for $4.00 each. Members receive free shipping, all non-members must add $1 when ordering more modules. 4. Permission is given to photocopy for personal use (have at it, my brothers). This module, as with everything else in our magazine is © Copyright 1991. Game Research/Design. All rights reserved. Special Acknowledgement is given to Tom Johnson and Joe Hayes and their Master Europa set of rules from which this module was generally taken. Thanks to Tom and Joe for their support.
