Created in 1740, reorganised in 1792 with 240 men in 4 companies, with 60 men in each.
1800 & 1815; Officers use the same uniform as prescribed for the “Milicia de Caballería”.
The men were identified by: “distinguiendose unicamente con un pequeño escudo de las armas Reales que llevan en la manga de campo, y con la escarapela encarnada en el ala levantada del sombrero redondo.” [ pequeño escudo = small shield ]

Created 1780, reorganised in 1792 with 720 men in 9 companies.
1800 & 1815; Uniform details were as per the Royal Order for “Milicia Caballería”

Consists of 360 men organised into 6 companies with 60 men per company. 1800 & 1815; Uniform details are the same as the above unit, re. Royal Order for “Milicia Caballería”

Creation date not given, company strength varies.
Uniform; “chupa corta y calzon de tripe o pano azul, con buelta y collarin encarnado, boton dorado, y capa de pano tambien azult, con sombrero de ala corta y tendida.”
