Notes:

1. Setup: Kuwaiti troops of the 7th Tank Bn., 57th Infantry and the Brigade AT detachment are deployedat least 30" west of the intersection of the Jahra ring road and the Dar Es Salem airfield road (runs to east). The 8th tank Bn. is set up at least 30' SW of the Ring road intersection. Brigade HQ is placed at least 60' from ring road and 20" southeast of the Salmi road. The stands of the 80th Brigade are deployed within the urban area of Jahra at least 8" from the ring road

2. TO&E: The above organization deviates from the 'book' organizations in a number of respects. The war mobilization order caught the 35th Brigade with many elements on detached service, for example two companies of the 8th Tank Battalion were dismounted on guard duty in the oilfields, with two companies of the 57th Infantry detached to guard coastal islands. In addition the brigade had the normal number of troops on leave, training, etc., which further lowered effective troop strength. When the Iraqi invasion came, the 35th rushed to deploy from barracks to the field with what they had. The artillery battalion could only muster a composite battery, and the line battalions were all below strength.

Ammunition: The Kuwaiti troops scrambled to combat load the vehicles of the brigade for the impending fight, but the sheer number of Iraqi targets soon ran the magazines dry. All AFV`s of the 35th Brigade can reload from the 5-ton supply trucks attached to the brigade headquarters, but the player must specific how many tons of what type of ammo are being carried (i.e. 120mm, 30mm AC, TOW Infantry AT weapons, 155mm Howitzer etc.). The Artillery battalion has the ammunition of the M109s and the M548s available.
