The French sent the all volunteer "Korean" Battalion, which was organized on the basis of a US Infantry Battalion, though with some Gallic touches. Interestingly enough, the infantry element was almost all parachute trained, with the volunteers from the Metropolitan Army. In the 1st Company, those from the Colonial Army in the 2nd, and the Volunteers from the French Foreign Legion in the 3rd. The battalion was attached to the 23rd US Infantry Regiment, and served as part of it. Its organization for COMMAND DECISION is as follows: FRENCH BATTALION(Veteran, Morale 11) BATTALION HEADQUARTERS
