U Mass/Amherst Con a Success


The convention was held on Sept. 18 and 19 at UMASS/Amherst and attracted over 300 people from across New England and New York. The convention will definitely be held again next year (our fifth year) in September.

The winners of the various events are as follows:

Rick Bissionette, Pelham, MA
Ted Furey, Gt. Barrington, MA
John Perrault, Amherst, MA
Ted Furey, Gt. Barrington, MA

The convention gave out over $400 in prizes over the weekend to the winners of the various events. The largest single prize was given for the WRG Ancients competition. Ted Furey took home a 1000pt 25mm Sassanid army as first prize. MASSCON is one of the largest conventions in New England. Thank you for helping us. (submitted by Dennis Wang)
