Six figures, all cavalry, were submitted for review: GS-13A, Swedish Drummer of Dragoons or Horse on H3 Medium Horse, GS- 11, Swedish Officer of Dragoons or Horse, GS-12A, Swedish Flagbearer of Dragoons or Horse, GS-14A, Swedish Trooper of Dragoons or Horse, all are on H3 Medium Horse. Imperialist Miniatures has a new Swedish line of 11 foot/mounted and most also have variants with Korpus hat. They also have four horse variants, medium and heavy horses at the walk and trot. These figures measure 25L (perhaps grading toward "M" just a tad) on the Barrett scale, are detailed and well proportioned. In fact, they are something of a throwback in terms of "25mm" figures in that they really are good old-fashioned 25mm figures and not the larger figures that tend to predominate today. However, they have plenty of equipment and facial detail you won't find on something sculpted 20 years ago. Therefore, these figures will fit in nicely with any old stuff you have lying around and hold their own quite nicely with newer, larger, more detailed sculptures of the last 5-10 years. Horse and rider are separate with saddle and other equipment sculpted on the trooper, not the horse. Apparently (this is not my period) the horse and dragoon uniforms were so close that these figures will work for either. The Officer, Flagbearer, Mounted Drummer with horse run $2.50 while the trooper costs $2.00, also with horse. You can get a free catalogue by writing or calling.
