Seven Years War Association Journal. The Fall 01 issue has five articles on the 1762 campaign in Portugal, along with some color illustrations, a translation of the journal of Horace St. Paul covering mid September 1757 in Silesia, with four maps. Potomac Wargamers Review. This is a photocopied, corner-stapled newsletter devoted nearly entirely to the rules ideas du jour of Mr. Simon, and his opinions and analysis of the rules of others. The PW Review is always lively, never deflected into argument over historical detail, and keeps its attention focussed on rule mechanisms illustrated by accounts of playtesting in Wally’s Basement and environs.
