What a turnout! What a wide variety of events, tournaments and non-tournament! What hyperbole! Actually we had 115 players involved in the tournament gaming which consisted of an Open, a Punic Era, and the National Team Championship. Tack on another 32 players in the Sunday morning DBA games, about 24 of which had not already played in the 7th tourneys, and we had our biggest Cold War sever. In addition Arty Conliffe ran two Tactica battles of Zama in conjunction with our Punic Theme which attracted about a dozen players in each session. I alsosaw Cy Taylor running a Hastings skirmish game after he finished his Punic work. (Bob Beattie also ran a duplicate bridge style DBA competition - Ed). We had about 10 players in a Punic Demo game in 7th for begi4qners Saturday night. Many thanks for Glen Boise and Jim Kasper far walking player through an introductory game of 7th. Dan Burkley and Frank Gilson helped out as usual with umpiring and Rod Burr, Paul Georgian, and Kruse Smith did a great job running and administering the Open. Simtac was the sole sponsor for the DBA tournament and Wargames for the National Team Championship Tournament (NTCT). The following provided additional prizes for the other tournaments: Arty Conliffe, Soldier & Sword, Armory, Viking Forge, Thistle and Rose, Wargames Foundry, Irregular Miniatures, Ral Partha, and Falcon. I would like to apologize to Jim Parcella of Falcoln Miniatures since he provided something for the Open which I mistakenly gave to the Sportsman winner. A slip in communications on my part and I am really sorry. TOURNEY RESULTS NTCT Championship Derek Downs and Joe Serafini, Selucid
