Scenario researched by George Anderson


The game begins at 2:40 PM and continues until 6:20 PM. If this seems too little time for a JRIII game, then just leave the end time open.

Table size is 4x6 feet for Johnny Reb II, 15mm scale. Adjust as needed for other ground scales or rules sets.

Deployment The 21st Wisc arrives at Point H at 3pm. The 1st MI Battery had retired for ammo, therefore throw a d10 for the game turn of its return at point I.

TERRAIN

All woods and cornfields are broken terrain.
The wooded pastureland in the southern sector of the battlefield is to be treated as open terrain.
Doctor's Creek can be crossed as broken and all hill slopes are open.

VICTORY CONDITIONS

The Confederates must drive the Federals from their position. In order to do this, they must capture the forward line of stonewalls which extends from the position of the 4th Indiana Battery to the front of the 121st Ohio, and also capture the ridge on which the 10th Wisconsin sits.
