Dr David Chandler

Readers will no doubt be aware of the recent illness of our Honorary Editor, Dr David Chandler. Coming so soon after his retirement, this news came as a shock both to those who know him personally as to those who only know him through his many books and articles.

The latest information that I have available is that David is making a slow but steady recovery, and I am sure that all readers of AoN will want to wish him 'Get Well Soon'.

Jack Sibley: Obituary

We regret to announce the recent sudden death of Jack Sibley. Jack was a long standing and stalwart member of the Napoleonic Association, whose enthusiasm put many younger members to shame; he will be sadly missed. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family.
