1. 13th Annual SYWA Convention
Will be held in South Bend, Indiana on Friday March 29 and Saturday March 30, 1996 at the Holiday Inn - Downtown. Paul Petri and Brian Vizek are the men on horseback who are organizing this year's convention. They have lined up Christopher Duffy as the featured guest and speaker and he will give a presentation on the Austrian role at Rossbach.
We have set aside a block of 30 rooms at the Holiday Inn at a special convention rate of $59.00 per room. Rooms book up fast so do not hesitate to call in your reservation now by calling the Holiday Inn at (219) 232-3941. It sounds as if we will have another terrific turnout as members from as far away as Florida, Georgia and Louisiana have indicated that they will attend. I hope to see some more of our East Coast members in attendence this year. I particularly enjoy matching faces to the names of the members of the SYW Association.

2. SYWA Internet Home Page
Several members have suggested that it is time for the SYWA to get on-line and set up an information page on the Internet. I intend to upgrade my computer system early in 1996 so that I can access the Internet, and when I do, I would like to set up a web-site for the SYWA. The problem is, I do not know where to begin in terms of software, hardware and page design. If any of the members are knowledgible on this subject then please contact me at your earliest convenience so that we can get this project started. I think that it would be fun to post current information on new products, research or just interesting bits of information about the SYW on the Internet.
3. SYWA Journal FAX Line
I want to thank all the members who have been sending me information and letters via FAX. I really enjoy hearing from people this way. On January 20,1996, there will be a new area code in the Chicago area, so the FAX line will change from (708)733-8367 to (847)733-8367.
