If the order comes that the army must march, the following orders shall be observed; 1 We will march by the right; 2 The infantry [to be] in three divisions which will march the one next to the other and not following. To this effect, every battalion will have at the head several carpenters in order to make some openings: 3 The regiments of Aylva, Lippe and Guards, finding themselves well to the left of the general area of the Prince of Waldeck, will place themselves next to the other regiments, and so shall the other regiments, everywhere where there may be any intervals; 4 The infantry, marching together in the van, will have as its left the general area mentioned before; 5 The cavalry will place its right on the neighborhood called Cense de Bouchegnies, forming the head of the dragons in order to make gaps; 6 The whole marches in order to make a front in the direction of Tournay; 7 The reserve corps will march under the orders of Lieutenant General Moltke, between the right wing and the left wing; 8 Each will be careful to cover its flanks; 9 The remainder will be left to the direction of the generals, brigadiers and commanders of the regiments.
