5. SYWA member Rob Chellis has volunteered to help organize a SYW mini-con within the HMGS East's annual HISTORICON convention. The event will be held at the Lancaster Host Hotel in Lancaster, PA from July 22 to 25th, 1993 and will feature Christopher Duffy and Donald Featherstone as guests. It would be nice to see 9 to 12 SYW games, perhaps divided into three game sessions (morning, afternoon and evening) on one day. The hotel has a number of separate game rooms, so it is conceivable that we could fill one room with nothing but SYW wargames ("we could fix up the barn, build a stage, put on a show and save the orphanage!"). Think about it: Duffy, the SYWA, Featherstone and Historicon all in one place! A number of members on the East Coast have been wondering when we might have a SYW convention in their part of the country. Well now is your time gentlemen, up and at them. We need Eastern members to step forward and either host games or attend the show.
