Now everyone can fight the Screaming Hedevils of Calcutta. Most of these figures are suitable for Indian warfare from the late 16th Century Moghul Empire to the end of the 19th Century. At present, there are 35 infantry figures armed with native Indian weapons, 13 armed with European-style weapons, 6 Moghul cavalry and 4 different horse selections. These , in turn, are styled for the North Region (Afghan), Central Region (Mahratta/Bengal), and the Southern Region (Mysore/native levy) types of dress. 17. Johnson Hood of Wargames, Inc. Box 278 Route 40 East, Triadelphia, WV 26059 advises that Dixon plans to introduce a line of 25mm Prussians in early l993. One can assume that Austrians are probably in the pipeline too. Wargames Inc. also stocks the Essex 15mm SYW range. I have become most familiar with these fine figures during my buildup of Hanoverian and Jacobite armies for the Sport of Kings/Age of Reason games and have found them a joy to paint.

Extremely light in weight, one eight ounce bag will cover two square feet. Samples are available for $2.00 for shipping and handling. The product is similar to the Woodlands Scenics grass and turf products, so it will not chemically react to moisture in the human skin and mar the finish on your miniatures. Eight ounce bags cost $3.29 plus shipping for fine powder (#101) or granular snow (#l02). Now you can fight Leuthen, Kesselsdorf or Eylau on realistic-looking winter terrain.

Box 5lOl, Hudson, FL 34674-5101 (813-848-8020) As of January 1, 1993 Elan enterprises will no longer be importing 25/30mm Willie and Tradition figures from overseas. "the half dozen individuals pirating these lines have hurt our sales ... and the European owner of these lines will not lower his prices nor will he grant us the manufacturing rights which would enable us to produce and sell these figures to our customers at lower prices." While existing stocks last, clearance prices for these figures are $1.50 per foot figures and $3.00 per mounted figure. Interesting parties should contact David at the above address. I'm sorry to hear that this venture has not turned out well for David because these are truly wonderful figures that well be missed.
