The 1805 Club have sent me a programme of their events for this coming year. Sunday 18 April sees the unveiling of the restored Sir Home Popham's memorial at St.Michael & All Angels Church, Sunninghill, Surrey. On Saturday 8 May there will be a ceremony at the restored tomb of Sir Sydney Smith in the Pierre Lachaise Cemetery, Paris. On Saturday 12 September there will be an international naval conference entitled Grand Strategy in the Mediterranean which will take place at HM Naval Base, Portsmouth. There will also be a Cocktail Party onboard HMS Victory. For details of all these events contact:
