Due to popular demand the Napoleonic Association have been asked to organise another pyrotechnics course similar to the course held by NARES some time ago. The course will be held from Friday evening on the 26th June and finish during the afternoon of Sunday the 28th June. The course has been tailored to suite Napoleonic period effects and is open to all members of the Napoleonic Association and our European colleagues. There are limited spaces so please book early. Any spaces available will be filled by opening the course to other organisations. We are likely to hold the course at Fort Amherst in Chatham but this will have to be confirmed shortly. The course fee will only include the cost of tuition and pyrotechnics. Any food or lodgings will be at your own expense. If the course is held at the Fort then Barrack facilities will be available as normal at this location. A brief course itinerary is as follows: Friday 17.00pm Reception, course details and some theory. Saturday Practical demonstrations and theory Sunday AM De-briefing & 45 minute Exam As you can see the course culminates in a short theory exam. For the purposes of accreditation this course is mandatory for all individuals who wish to use pyrotechnics within the Napoleonic Association's displays. The cost of the course is £ 50 sterling. Your cheque should be made payable to "The Napoleonic Association" and sent to the following address to ensure your inclusion on the course. (Please ensure that payments from non-UK banks are made using a Euro cheque in £ sterling.)
