Napoleonic Association: Events Diary Saturday March 18th : Research Section, Spring Conference. Please note the change of date. Venue - The National Army Museum in Chelsea. Paul Chamberlain will be issuing further details in the New Year. The Reenactment Display Calendar for 1995 is now almost complete with a possible 6 UK events and 3 overseas trips. I will only publicise these as contracts are completed but I am able to confirm: The Napoleonic Fair - see above. Spring Bank Holiday - 27,28,29th May - Old Sarum. An English Heritage event, centred on a siege of the historic hill fort near Salisbury. Summer Bank Holiday - 26,27,28th August - Margam Country Park. A complete Napoleonic weekend with many attractions plus a Battle spectacular. Margam is near Port Talbot in South wales. A superb venue - for those who were impressed at Weston Park this is very similar. Waterloo 16,17,18 June 1995. This major event comes round every 5 years and is not to be missed. A recreation of the famous battle in 1815 over the original terrain involving maybe some 2,000 reenactors.
