Here a drawing from Favaloro, never published, depicting some early ‘700 venetian dragoons.

In 1709, both cuirassiers regiments had been assembled in a single unit headquartered in Verona. Heavy cavalry had no operational role during the Second War of Morea, except for patrolling duties on the Mainland’s borders and escorting government personalities as they move in the state. In March 1701, a Senate decree prescribed the cuirassiers’ uniform, consisting of white velada and waistcoat, natural leather trousers for private horsemen and white cloth for officers, tin buttons and steel polished armour. Originally, the cuffs were red or blue to identify the two regiments. In all probability, after the amalgamation of both regiments of cuirassiers the new unit adopted the red facing.
2: Dragoon regiment Massa; Private dragon
Unlike the Cuirassiers, Venetian dragoons were employed in the war against the Ottomans. At the start of the war of 1714-1718, Venice had three regiments in Morea and one in Dalmatia, and only the latter was still in service two years later. Each dragoon regiment wore a different uniform. The three regiments in Greece had received coats of grey cloth with red cuffs, brass buttons, natural leather trousers, black tricorn hat with yellow piping and azure cockade; on the right shoulder the coat had a forage strap of the distinctive colour, attached to a button at the end of the collar. The same strap, but in azure-blue, was on the coat of Massa dragon’s uniform.
