• To do:
  • starting soon a Reichsarmee Grenadier battalion (Minden Miniatures)
  • complete the Prussian fusiliers (Front Rank).
  • base and flock a French Hussar regiment (De Bercheny), with mounted, dismounted troops and horse holders. Done
  • base and flock a small light infantry unit, Chasseurs de Fischer. Done
  • based and flock a small unit of Highlanders, something I did not expect but which came with the rest of the French figures found on eBay. Done

The figures below, now rebased, have been painted by a French modeller who had started an Austrian Succession or Seven Years War project, who managed to paint some English and some French units. I bought from him both the painted and the unpainted figures.

The figures are all from Crann Tara / Mine, very nice models which were designed only for a private army, only later some years ago became available from purchase. They are now available from Fife and Drum USA and Caliver Books in UK, but the ranges are not complete.

The highlander unit is a single unit, probably painted just for fun.
