Never grapple the Drakkar

Yesterday Marco, Francesco and I finished another Cry Havoc remote game. This time we had a naval action! a Viking drakkar was replenishing for food (and some gold), along the anglo-salon shores.

A bold Earl decided to ram and grapple the Viking ship with his men, onboard his boat. The ramming succeeded, killing a viking oarsman and wounding another. The grapple also succeeded, but it was a veeeery bad idea. As soon as the ships were knotted together by additional ropes launched from the drakkar, three really crazy berserkers jumped onto the boat, killing in one sweep most of the anglo-salon crew with their axes.

In one turn after boarding, the game was finished. Here a picture of the game end, with the surviving anglo-saxons jumping off-board to try to save their lives!!
