This month projects:
- US Spearhead WW2, 1/300 army.
- I am preparing about 30+30 trench/rifle pits bases. I have bought them from Timecast, they are marvellous. Half I will paint for desert, half for more green battlefields.
- I am also basing all US vehicles and AT guns that I have. I just prime them with Olive drab spray, paint tracks and tires, then I base them without putting any flock. They cannot be used as are now, many more touches are needed before they may be used on a table. Basing work is almost finished now, I have filled four A4 storage trays with figures and vehicles! I basically have one Infantry division with all core battalions and most of its supports. I only miss a few Recce and AA Units. I have also based some late war tanks, like Jumbos and Pershings for very late ’45 scenarios.
- I have now finished the base painting and basing (no flock) of all my US troops.
- Now starting to flock a whole infantry regiment with all vehicles. Almost finished!
- Peninsular War paperboys for Volley and Bayonet.
- 2mm Seven Year War armies. The model were painted and sold to me by Mario a few years ago. I am re-basing them to play BBB. I just took the Napoleonic Quicksheet and adapted it for SYW. Today I prepared about 40 infantry bases, line and grenadiers. Bases have been painted. Still remaining some Austrian and Prussian cavalry to be based.
