Spearhead Greek Army 1940-1941.
I am currently trying to organise a World War Two Greek Army in 6mm, starting from H&R catalogue.
Infantry figures might be from the Italian range, having used the same helmet and some captured italian equipment.
In terms of artillery, I may take something from the H&R catalogue below:
Heavy machine gun, St Etienne maybe, from WWI French | £ 0.40 |
GWF07 – Heavy Machine gun & crew (1914) x 3 | £ 0.50 |
Some captured IT305 – WW2 Italian Brixia 45mm M35 Light mortar team(6)
FR03 – Horse Drawn 75mm Gun X 3 this is WW2 French
F20 – 105mm Schneider 1913 gun | £ 0.50 |
GWAH01 – Skoda 7.5 cm Gebirgskanone M. 15 | £ 0.55 |
G071 – 7.5cm Mountain gun, this is probably not usable, too typical german. | £ 0.50 |
P24 – 155mm Schneider Gun | £ 0.40 |
GWF04 – 155mm Schneider Gun (C17S) | £ 0.50 |
Some information found on the web:
There is a new Osprey on the Italian-Greek war which is very useful for Uniformology and for organisation.
In terms of organisation, some info is in the Osprey book, some may come from the excellent Mark Bevis lists, which need to be translated into a Spearhead list and Weapon Chart.
On this page you will see very soon a TOE and a Weapon Chart for Spearhead.
