Historicon 2004
Convention Recap

Personalities

by Russ Lockwood

I call this the personality section because you may recognize some of the names and faces..although I have to admit, after coming to these conventions year after year, many folks are starting to look familiar! In alphabetical order...

Brian Bradford at the head of the table. I don't know if he's participating or (like me) gawking at the table. I'm not sure of the game, although it may be Raab 1809?

Bob Giglio has his back turned while making a ruling in this ECW battle.

Duncan McFarlane of WI shakes his dice and maneuvers his troops in this Warhammer Ancients battle.

Jim Moffet of GHQ (seated) says this ain't just MicroArmour anymore. Looks like a blaze of ACW motion across wonderful terrain.

Don Perrin (center) of Perrin Miniatures, MWAN, and a few other lines chats it up in the True North booth. Glenn Kidd is to the right.

Steve Verdilova brought his 1000 yard stare from California.

Mark Zaslavsky (standing with chart), who hosts Classical Hack wargames non stop, puts on another Roman extravaganza.

Richard (left, tan T-shirt) and Larry (black T-shirt), major league celebrities in their own minds, launch concentrated mind melds in this tag-team DBA tournament.

Please note that photos, they of 1000 words, form the majority of the report and thus, will be slow in downloading.
