1680 Guale Creek vs Yuchi + Cherokees + English-SC + even some Creeks
1686-87 Upper Creeks vs Choctaws. French negotiate an end to the conflict
1686-87 Upper Creeks vs Mobilian. French negotiate an end to the conflict
1690s Pro-English Creeks begin devastating raids on smaller neighboring
tribes in Alabama and Georgia in an effort to control the deerskin trade AND
to obtain slaves for trade. As a result many small tribes are destroyed or
forced to migrate.
1702 May. Lower Creeks (500) + English (60?) raid Apalachee (900) + Spanish
in north Florida. A major battle is fought at the Flint River. The Creeks
use a fake camp to lure the larger force into the open and then routed it.
1703 Lower Creeks + English raid Spanish and allies in Florida. Even
attack St Augustine.
1702 Upper Creeks vs Choctaw. Choctaw win due to the aquisition of guns
from the French
1702-09 FRANCO-MUSCOGEE WAR. Upper Creek vs French + Mobilian + Choctaw
1704 Upper Creek + Chickasaw vs Choctaw + Tunica. Fought mainly in
Mississippi
1704 Ft St Louis Lower Creeks (1000) + English (50) attack Spanish +
Apalachees in Florida
1707 Upper Creeks vs Pensacola tribes in NW Florida
1708 Upper Creeks vs Tallpooses tribes in NW Florida
1709 May. Battle of Mobile. Upper Creeks vs French (50) + Mobilians (?) +
Choctaws (?). After the battle the French and Creeks agree to peace terms
but the Choctaws reject them.
1711-12 Lower Creeks (1300) launch a major campaign into Choctaw
land. This new force of Creeks forces the Choctaws to sue for peace with the
Muskogees.
1715 Yamasee War. A few Creeks + Apalachees support the Yamasee's in
their attack on SC English. Creek support is minor but SC English insist on
a retailitory raid..
1716 Lower Creeks vs Cherokee + SC English (300) under Col Moore. Minor
damage inflicted
1722 Lower Creeks vs Yamasee and Apalachee refugees which have migrated
into lower Ga.
1727 Upper Creek/Abihkas vs Lower Town Cherokee Towns. Border wars with
skirmishes.
1727 Renegade Creeks who had supported the Yamasee earlier + Yamasee vs
the English Smallwood Outpost-Trading post located on the Savannah River.
1728 Lower Creek end their war with the Yamasee ??
1730-34 Creeks continue to raid Cherokee and Yuchi towns in the SC border
area
1734 Yamacraw Creeks vs Yamasee + Spanish
1735 Yamacraw Creeks vs Yamasee + Spanish
1739 Creek vs Choctaws. Choctaws try to split the alliance of old enemies
listed below.
1739-48 ENGLISH-SPANISH BORDER WAR. Yamacraw Creeks join a coalition of
English + Savannah- Chickasaw + Yuchis + Cherokees + Savannah-Shawnee vs
Spanish + Native allies.
1740 FT MOOSA Yamacraw Creeks (135) + English (30) attacked by Spanish
1742 ST SIMON ISLAND. Creeks + Highland immigrants repel Spanish invasion.
1742 MT VENTURE. Creeks + English (20) vs Spanish + Yamasees
1743 Creeks conduct a raid into Florida and ambush a Spanish patrol near St
Augustine.
1742-43 Despite other alliances, Abihika Creek and Lower Cherokee towns
continue to fight.
1743 Abihika Creeks vs Choctaw
1743 Yamacraw Creeks + Savannah River Chickasaw vs Catawbas
1745 Lower Creeks vs Yuchi
1747-49 Lower Creeks are raided by Cherokees + Seneca Iroquois allies
1750-52 Lower Creeks unite and launch a new campaign vs Cherokees
1750 Spring. Lower Creeks (500) attack Cherokee towns of Echoi and Estatde.
1751 Spring. OCONEE RIVER. major battle between Creeks and Cherokee + Seneca
