Arnold, Benedict. Brigadier General in the British Army. raised the American Legion, commanded several British expeditions, early in the war he had been the most successful Patriot
field commander before he changed sides.
Auchmutz, Sir Samuel. from New York, served with the British 45th Foot, later rose to the rank of General during the Napoleonic Wars.

Bettys, Joseph. A Tory terrorist ? in New York, executed in 1782.

Volunteer Regiment in 1776. recruited i Butler, John. Col., raised the Butler Rangers, planned many of the Tory-Indian joint raids in the north, very influential with the Seneca.
Butler, Walter. Captain, son of J. Butler, his inexperience lead directly to the loss of control of the Senecas during the Cherry Valley raid, KIA on Oct 30 1781.

Chambers, James. raised a unit of Maryland Loyalist in 1777
Coffin, John. Major, raised and commanded the Orange Rangers, later reached the rank of
Colonel in the British Army during the Napoleonic Wars.
Connolly, John. his actions probably started the Lord Dunmore's Indian War, planned an attack to capture Pittsburg in 1775 with the Queen's Rangers but captured prior to starting the expedition.

DeLancey, Oliver the Younger. Lt.Col., General Clinton's adjutant during 1780-81, rose to the rank of General in the British army during the Napoleonic Wars
