Here's another issue under our belts. This one (#3) provided the first disagreement between Editor and Writer that I, as Publisher, decided to put side by side so that you the reader can see both sides of an intriguing argument. It is my premise that disagreements, even critical ones, with well researched reasoning behind both, are worthy to print. Indeed, I find it preferable to see side by side the reasoning and let you, the reader, think about the issue and decide for yourself. At TwisterCon, I'm on the left, with a subscriber. Additionally, I find this the best mechanism to allow the staff of the magazine to air differing opinions from each other and contributing writers. There are very few absolutes in history, and allowing well constructed but differing ideas and opinions cannot do anything but improve our magazine, hobby and writing. And maybe I'll see you at a Con one of these days.
