Osprey Men-at-Arms Series #39 By Robin May & Gerry Embleton This book is an excellent guide to the British army during the American War for Independence. It includes color pictures of the various British troop types, along with some Hessian units. This book also includes some fine background material on the life of the British soldier in America. It's one of the best in the Osprey Men at Arms Series. More Book Reviews
