After the release of Ace of Aces, Gameshop Inc. became Nova Game Designs. The Nova release contained new gunfire artwork that used larger muzzle flashes and dark tracer lines to make it abundantly clear when you were eligible to fire at your opponent. This change corrected the ambiguity of the Gameshop artwork and gave a dramatic effect that more than made up for the somewhat cartoonish character of the gunfire art.
