Miniatures Review:

Furry-Footed Females Fight! Sure, it sounds like an advertisement for tomorrow's Oprah show, but they're really Halfling figures from Reaper Miniatures' Dark Heaven line. Darby Darkleaf (#02110) is preparing her sword to take out the pesky Red Dragon that just ate the Paladin while the Halfling Cutpurse (#02100) knows better than to approach a Dragon - that's what sling stones and Paladins are for... Reaper Miniatures: Dark Heaven The Final Word! Despite what you may have heard or read elsewhere, here is incontrovertible proof that female dwarves do NOT have beards. Sandra Garrity would not release the names of her sculpting subjects for these Miniatures, but assures me that neither of them had shaved the morning they posed. It's not often that you fall for a woman with a battle-ax or spear, but my dwarf characters are all over these two. Ametrine (#2063) uses the axe and shield approach to courting, while Magda (#2085) has more men than she can shake a stick at (or spear, in this case). Reaper Miniatures Gilligan's Island? "That's not drums you hear, little buddy - it's your pulse." Just when you thought it was safe to go into the jungle, Ral Partha's Headhunter set gives you reason to visit someplace safe... like South-Central Los Angeles. Ral Partha #02-504: Headhunters
Welcome to the jungle, chummer... Okay, so maybe the future's not much safer, at least in the world of Fasa's Shadowrun. the Lone Star Assault Team consists of four heavily armed and armored figures, one of which is obviously a troll. just possessing the figures will make your Shadowrun players show you more respect - after all, few things are more daunting than a troll with a belt-fed, stabilized, heavy-machinegun (except maybe a heavily cybered-up troll with a belt-fed, stabilized, heavy-machinegun...). Ral Partha #20-540: lone star assault team Smile Big... With Gabriel Darkblood (#02111) being the partying, night owl that he is, it seems unlikely that he'd be hanging out with Brother Louis IV (#02087), the stoic bishop of Stake-Through-The-Heart Abbey. Still, Reaper Miniatures' Dark Heaven line includes a great deal of variety, so it seems just about anything is possible. Reaper Miniatures: Dark Heaven More Reviews:
