Blue puttees, leather covered wooden scabbard with steel fittings donkey skin was most popular. Carries tulwar, not army issue sword. Drab Kurta and breeches. Brown pushteen, red cummerbund, blue turban with yellow and light blue stripes. 2. Afridi Sargeant - Guides Infantry. Drab full dress uniform for warmth. Red coller and cuffs. Drab puttee. 3. Officer - Guides Infantry. Based on Photo of lieutenant Walter Hamilton, VC. Brown leather pouch belt with silver pickers. Native scabbard, 1822 light cavalry sabre. Sam Browne belt worn without shoulder belt.
