[HM12] The Battle of The River Plate Tournament. The first session of a tournament based on the December 1939 classic naval action between the GRAF SPEE and the three cruisers of Commodore Harwood’s squadron. Beginners welcome. On completion of the tournament, the player judged the best commander for each of the four ships (GRAF SPEE, AJAX, ACHILLES, EXETER) over the course of the entire tournament will be awarded a plaque and prize. [HM61] NW Frontier Punitive Expedition. The NWF- turbulent land of Pathan raids and ambushes. Natives must be punished and brought back into the Queen's fold. Valleys must be penetrated, rugged heights surmounted and villages burned until the recalcitrant tribes submit. Yet the Pathan is a wiley foe. His rugged land provides strong positions for jezail fire and concealment for fanatical swordsmen. The British must execute a successful punitive expedition. [HM01] Memoir "44 - "D-Day Landings". Memoir '44 is a unique historical board game, that allows players to fight stylized WWII battles in about an hour or less. Each session will feature a number of battles including D-Day landings and scenarios for the Liberation of France. The game mechanics, although simple, will still require strategic card play, timely dice rolling and an aggressive, yet flexible battle plan to achieve victory. [HM26] Boxers at Senluo Temple. 18 Oct 1899. This is the first clash between the Boxers and Imperial Chinese during the Boxer Rebellion. The Boxers pulled of a successful charge against the Imperials. The Imperials regrouped and with reinforcements, launched a counter attack near the village of Zhifang. The Imperials were successful and temporarily suppressed the Boxer uprising. This game recreates the counter offensive. French Marshal Soult finds that he is outnumbered prior to an attack on the town of Albuera, currently defended by British and Spanish forces commanded by Sir William Beresford. In a strategic move, Soult sends the bulk of his force to outflank the allied forces while feinting an attack on Albuera. Take charge of the allies and see if they can redeploy against the flank attack, or command French troops in the assault on the allied flank before they can mount an effective defense. [TR01] Chariot Wars! 15mm DBA Ancients Tourney [Multi Session Event]. This tournament will use the De Bellis Antiquitatis v2.2 rules published by Wargames Research Group with armies restricted to the NASAMW Biblical, plus Stone-age Pacific and Americas theme listing. The event will be qualifier for the North American Society of Ancient and Medieval Wargamers National Invitational Championship Tournament. NASAMW membership is not required, but only members can qualify for the NICT (and qualify for special prizes.)

[TR02] Warhammer 40K Grand Tournament [Multi Session Event]. Current 3rd Edition "Official" 40K rules. Army should be from Codex or authorized GW publication. Less than a year into the war the Russians launch a massive assault designed to surround and destroy the German forces in the Kharkov area and to retake the city. Marshall Timoshenko's Northern arm has broken through. Standing in its way the 513th Infantry Regiment. 3rd Panzer, the "Berlin Bears", are ordered to seal off and destroy the breakthrough and rescue the 513th. While the Italian CTV experimented with a motorized offensive against Guadalajara a reinforced Nationalist Division marched down the other side of the Badiel River on beans and hay. [HM37] The Battle of Lemnos or Athos 19 June, 1807. The Russian fleet under Seniavin, has successfully maneuvered into a good position to attack the Turkish fleet off Tenedos which is laying siege to the Russian Garrison. Turkish Captain Pasha Seid-Ali realizes the trap and attempt to flee. Seniavan decides to press home the attack in a manner reminiscent of Nelson. Can the Russians achieve a Trafalgar-like victory? [HM40] Grosdeutschland at Kursk [Multi Session Event]. On July 5th 1943, the German High Command launched a massive attack against the bulge in the lines at Kursk. But it was no surprise to the Russians. What was intended to be a blitzkrieg attack was directed against miles of trenches, barbed wire and minefields. After 2 days of slogging through well prepared defensive positions, the veteran troops of the elite division Grosdeutschland had no illusions about what the next day would bring: More of the same.
