To the officers and members of the Historical Miniature Gaming Society, Greetings and respects to you all! We at the Lakeland Role Playing Guild would like to express our thanks and gratitude to your organization for the wonderful experience we had at RECON 2003. We greatly appreciate the attention and hospitality you showed us. (A special thanks from Scott Presley goes to Chuck Kennedy for the use of his scenery and terrain.) You all made us feel very welcome at your event and we look forward to seeing you in September for HURRICON 2003. The LRPG arrived at RECON 2003 with a full panel of games scheduled. A few of these had to be canceled because of family and work emergencies faced by some of our game masters. The games that did go on, however, were completely filled and enjoyed by all participants. Of the thirty-six gamers at our tables (some of who were at the event specifically for RPGs), all indicated their interest in attending HURRICON 2003 and rolling dice with us again. Hopefully those gamers and more will come out in September, because we would love to contribute to another convention's record-breaking attendance. We are in the process of putting together our game schedule for the fall. In addition to the usual selection of RPGs, we are considering presenting another Battletech game as well as a Heroclix event. The preliminary schedule will be in your hands soon and any modifications to it will be forwarded promptly. If you have any questions regarding our plans or need any feedback on accommodations, please feel free to contact us using any of the email addresses below (and be sure to clearly identify any messages on the subject header line). Thank you once again for allowing us to take part in your convention. See you in September. Happy gaming! Nicholas Cardarelli, Guild Master;
