At the end of this month we will be enjoying the seventh RECON, our Spring convention. Curiously alone among HMGS Chapter Conventions, this one has proven on average even more successful than our flagship convention HURRICON. But it is the last HURRICON we have to thank for the return of Larry and Lori Brom with their all star TSATF playtesters from Mississippi Mark Stevens and Jay Stribling. We hope that the feRowship and camaraderie they encountered at HURRICON 02 will be in full force at RECON 03. If you haven't done so already, be sure to contact the Comfort Inn for reservations (only $59 a night-and the place is in great shape.) And there is still time to pre-register for games-or even offer to present another game yourself. We are still offering pre-registrants, those who take rooms in their own names, and anyone running a game at the convention a chance at a drawing for $100 in "Chuck's Bucks" (formerly Confederate Money) redeemable with vendors at the convention.
