These are the cleanest, most attractive Russian Napoleonics I have ever seen. When I first saw-Foundry's ad regarding the pending release of these figures, I placed a standing order. Foundry promises to send out new figures to standing order holders several weeks before they place in general availability. I had to wait quite a while for my first shipment. It was more than a year from when I placed my standing order until I got my first group of six packages of miniatures. They were worth the wait. There are now several different releases which arrive faithfully every two months or so. Foundry will charge them to whichever card you wish to give them. Pictured here are some Musketeers and mounted Cuiraissiers. I also featured a group of Russian Grenadiers in 1809 Shako with Greatcoats on this issues cover. Each release has a theme. First was Retreat to Smolensk, then Kutusov Strikes Back and the latest, Borodino, the Last Stand Figures are packaged in either 1809 or 1812 uniforms.
