I recently purchased GHQ's long awaited individual infantry figures direct from their website. I was amazed at the detail for 1/285th scale micro-armor figures. For years I have purchased ROS-Heroics 1/300 scale figures and was content to go on doing so. However, once you see these figures painted and based they are detailed well beyond and any currently available micro scale figures. If you decide to buy some, there are several packages available. I have purchased some of each kind.
G 145 Heavy Weapons include MG 42s, Flame thowers, Trench Mortars. US 76 Infantry includes M-1, BARs, command, grenades. US 77 Weapons include Binos, Flame and trench mortar. GHQ already has decent weapon packs with HMGs included. They will not include HMGs in any further figure offers. Next Due are the British and Soviets. If they are of the same quality I can recommend them highly. Each pack is $7.95 and come with around 50-75 figures. Some are prone and some ,are standing. In the next issue I will add some pictures to the article to show the whole line of figures available from the manufacturer. I suggest you puchase two infantry packs for every weapons pack you obtain. Along with the Soviets and British GHQ will be making an Opel Maultier with a Panzerwurfer 42 Rocket POD on the rear. This is the famous Armored Maultier so frequently seen in the West during 1944. Go to WWW.GHQMODELS.com for details and some nice pictures. More figure review will follow in future issues.
