Remarks
Repeat of Oriani class with minor variations. Carabineri had 120mm/50 vice 120mm/45 starshell gun. 2 DC throwers later increased to 4.
1942: Ascan, Nera, Geniere, Lanciere had starshell gun replaced by 120mm/50
13.2mm replaced first by 2(4) 20mm/65, later increased to 10-12 barrels.
1942-43: Carabinere, Granatiere, Legionario, Fuciliere, Velite had aft TT replaced by 1 or 2 37mm/54, latter two also had starshell gun replaced by a 120mm/50
Veliter and Fucilere had Gufo radar fitted, Legionario had German radar fitted.
