Greenhill Books, publishers of the Napoleonic Library series, are sponsoring their fourth Napoleonic Fair, Sunday, 2 February, 1997, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Royal National Hotel on Bedford Way in London. Last February more than 60 companies exhibited books, prints, militaria, wargaming figures, etc., and even more displays are expected in 1997. Some of the exhibitors will be releasing new items especially to coincide with the Fair. Greenhill, for example, will offer a new edition of the classic work The Anatomy of Glory by Henry Lachouque and Anne S. K. Brown. Members of the Napoleonic Association will perform a drill demonstration by re-enactors representing the 9th Regiment of Foot and La Garde Imperiale. A military model competition will be judged by Ken Jones, editor of Military Modelling Magazine. Three different wargames will be presented, including Napoleonics in North America by the Rayners Lane War Game Group, 1812: Napoleon in Moscow, by the League of Gentlemen, and Peninsular Thud and Blunder, by the Simulations Association of Sussex. Admission is £ 4 (by catalog). Drawings will be made periodically through the day based on the serial numbers on the catalogs, awarding prizes donated from exhibitor stands. Visitor inquiries should be directed to Greenhill Books, Park House, 1 Russell Gardens, London NW11 9NN England. Telephone 0181-458-6314; fax 0181-905-5245. Other Calendar Items:
