Review of Feudal Castings new 15mm releases for Sikh cavalry Ranges Available from 15, Quarry Park, Kirriemuir, Angus, Scotland, DD8 4DR Now some Sikh cavalry:SM13 Sikh Ghorchurra cavalry, musket. It's a long musket like a jezail. Chain on the breast and a helmet with a chain aventail to guard the neck. This one has a round shield too, sabre at his side. The other variant has a two-plumed helmet, with nasal. He also has mail body defence with a char aina, bridle arm defence, sabre, and round shield on his back. SM14 Sikh Ghorchurra cavalry, sword, shield. Round shield on his arm, sabre waved in his right hand (a Tulwar probably). One variant has chainmail and a plumed helmet; the other has a helmet with no plume, but a nasal and leather (?) tunic with sewn on metal plates including the char aina (breast plate - literally "four mirrors" from the 4 small disks of metal used to be). SM15 Sikh Ghorchurra cavalry, lance and shield. Round shield, one variant in mail with plumed helmet, other with tunic and metal reinforcements with round helmet. All these irregular cavalry are supplied with a horse with fringed horse blanket - for an irregular look. SM16 Sikh regular dragoon, carbine. He has a turban and his carbine is held upright in his right hand. All regular cavalry are supplied with a smooth edged horse-blanketed horse. Neat figure. SM17 Sikh regular lancer. A good long well proportioned lance. Turban of course - as Sikh he has to wear one as part of his religious vows. SM18 Sikh regular cuirassier. A rather grand looking chap, sword at attention position, a detailed cuirass. Until "Feudal" produce cavalry officers, this figure has the presence to stand in as a cavalry officer for other units of cavalry. Along with the other releases in this range, one can build a finely detailed, crisply cast Sikh army - with brilliant painting by yourself of course
