Still more ACW figures fmm Dixon which are getting finer and more detaiIed in modeling all the time. I will list them, comment and then draw some, not to scale.

First off. Famous Commanders - Mounted (not including horse)

ACWPC12 Lt. Gen. U.S. Grant, waving hat. Quite a good likeness in metal. Cigar stukc in his mouth. Wearing an enlisted man's coat with stars sewn onto the shoulders, as he actually did. Useful figure.

Infantry. Choice of hat or kept.

ACW343 Standard bearer, open shell jacket, blanket roll barefoot, standing (Conf). Dixons do a great variety of standard bearers - I'm sure more than nine. Provide your own fly.

ACW344 Open shell jacket and blanket roll, barefoot, advancing, right shoulder shift (Conf). He wears a military academy cap and has an urgent feel about the way he seems to be hurrying forward.

ACW345 Open shell jacket and blanket roll, standing, ramming cartridge. Eitber shouting or with his mouth open trying to breathe in ail that smoke. Bareheaded.

ACW346 Standard Bearer. Frock coat and blanket roll, standing (Conf). Star on his slouch hat. Provide your own fly. Trousers tucked into his socks.

ACW347 Sackjacket. Kneeling, firing (Union). Firing across to the left. He's just seen an enemy running forward perhaps. Good pose.

ACW348 Sackjacket, passing box of cartridges on hands and knees. Very like the figure in the painting of the Defense of Rorke's Drift by Alphonse De Neuville. Very good action.

ACW349 Sackjacket, standing, shoulder arms. A very believable figure this. Uncomfortable full marching order kepi too small from issue or shrunk. Full of character - one of the best Dixons I've seen, in an understated way.

ACW350 Officer - sackjacket, advancing, shouldered sword. A veteran officer evidently - small beard & mustache. Water bottle, knapsack and pistol, holstered. He supports his scabbard with his left hand. Another very good figure.
