1. Initially each of the above armies will follow the formation of the respective armies in DBA.
2. To begin a campaign; throw a D10 and D6 dice counting the Dl0 as the first number. The second die will indicate the second number. (e.g. Dl0 = 2, D6 = 5, result = 25).
3. The first throw will indicate the attacker whilst a second throw indicates the target territory. The target territory will always be the invader’s “Destiny” and will always be a target until the target is conquered. A country’s “Destiny” will always be a driving force until the whole ‘continent’ is united.
4.The attacker will plot the most direct route to the target and move on that route, attacking all territories in between.
5. Should the attacker be defeated before reaching the target, then the campaign will stop and, any territory the attacker has won becomes conquered territory and the basis of its ‘empire’. The winning defender will not take over the attacker’s territories but will be assumed to have only beaten off an aggressor. (See rule 10 for an exception of this rule).
6. Should both dice throws be the same, then a civil war takes place in the designated territory. (A previously conquered territory rebels against its conqueror). A rebelling territory must be reconquered. Should it defeat the ‘empire’ that held it, it will assume the role of ruler of the original empire’.
7. All battles and sieges will follow the DBA system.
8. At a time to be adjudged right, all campaigning on the small territorial map will cease and countries and empires then in existence will be mapped out and detailed.
9. During the initial game when the invader gains a victory then additional two elements will be added to the basic army for each hexagon/region conquered. i.e. An invader will have strength of 14 elements when attacking a second hexagon and 16 when attacking a third.
10. When an attacker and a defender have already established the basis of an ‘empire’ then the winner of a battle, regardless, will take overall control of both the ‘empires’.
