BEHIND THE LINES OR INSIDER KNOWLEDGE OR EVEN KNOWING SOMEONE WHO KNOWS The last company I worked for made me very happy for at least one day of the 5 years I worked for them when they bought the company who owned Osprey, only to find out a few days later that they had sold the Osprey part to someone else. Fate plays funny tricks a couple of years later they make me redundant and I end up working for the new owners of Osprey. Heaven at last. BOOKS TO LOOK OUT FOR FROM OSPREY May ELITE No 62 Zouave Units of the American Civil War (8.99 pounds) ELITE No 63 Go Mountain & Ski Troops 1939-45 (8.99 pounds) M.A.A. No 292 King George's Army 1740-1793: (3) (7.99 pounds) M.A A. No 293 Armies of the Russian Civil War: (I) The Red Army (7.99 pounds) June ACES No 9 Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Aces of the Western Front (10.99 pounds) ACES No 10 Hellcat Aces of World War 2 (10.99 pounds) Jul M.A.A. No 20 T34/85 Medium Tanks (7.99 pounds) CAMPAIGN No. 43 Pavia 1525 (10.99 pounds) CAMPAIGN No 44 Majuba 1881 (10.99 pounds) These should be published in the month shown (including the USA) and be available from all good bookshops, but in publishing like wargaming the best of plans often go awry. The new Campaign titles are soon going to have an extra 6 pages of plates with panoramic battle scenes inside, a little extra for your money. If you want to know if a book is still in print, or have heard a rumor that one is coming but can't find out when, if you send a S.A.E to Rob Mirrey, McCullach Drive, Forfar, Tayside, Scotland, DD8 2EB all try and help. And no Kenn I haven't heard of any more books on Samurai. [Bob gets advanced information of the books that Osprey is going to be publishing and I asked him if he could let the membership know via Lone Warrior. The result is above and I hope it will be of use to some of you. Kenn] Other BookCase Reviews:
