Larry Leadhead Compendium Book

Book Review

One of the MUST have items of the Year!

No it's not more figures to paint or a new set of rules. It's best comic going, that is, if you're a Gamer. I'm talking about the Larry Leadhead Compendium. This a very well put together production using a 6"x9" booklet format with 48 pages, not counting the cover (very close to the same format as The Herald).

The booklet is filled with Leadhead Comic strips from September 2000 to September 2001. There is a very nice and interesting introduction to the strip with the story of how Doug Hamm & Eric Hotz (our very own GL member #746) got started working together on this comic strip. Another interesting touch is the commentary that is included with some of the strips, giving the background of where the idea for the strip came from and the events that lead up to that strip.

The booklet with postage from Canada cost $10 (I ordered my copy on a Thursday and received it in just four days, almost as good as the delivery time of The Herald). Well, all I can say is: Check it out -- you won't be disappointed!
