Overall these are typically great figures from the Foundry. However, there are some packs that have uncharacteristically static animation. The lack of tatooing on DA57 is a surprise. Had these figures had tatoos they would really have been something to behold painted up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! I would like to see some Belgian Askari NCOs like Sgt. Albert Frees, Corp. Benga or any of the others that Hinde so vividly writes about and describes. Or even some of the Congo chiefs that ally themselves with the Belgians. DA224 British Sikh and Askari NCOs - Good expressions and animation. The Sikhs look like they might be from the Indian Army Sikhs, but they fit in with the other African Sikhs and they were well used by the British, so you definitely need a unit of them for Africa. DA83 Baluchi Swordsmen II - Man those swords are gigantic, very well detailed, great expression and animation. DA233 Belgian Askari with Waist Sash - Don't get sick with the guys upsidedown, a bit static animation but with good expressive faces. DA57 Stark Naked Spearmen - Don't let your wife and kids see these guys, are they to scale? wow! These would have been great if they had tatooing but they don't. Still the expressions are good, but the animation is a bit typical. DA234 Belgian Officers and NCOs II - Outstanding sculpting of the heads, great animation and expression. Overall these will be very useful.
