Cannon Fodder Miniatures

25mm Sudan, Cape Wars

by Richard Brooks

Welcome to CFM, but just who and what on earth is CFM? To answer that requires an explanation of our rather idiosyncratic name. As the name implies "Cannon Fodder" represents those warriors and soldiers who made up the vast bulk of armies throughout history. Given.that our primary interest is in the rank and file it isn't CFM's intention to make 'personality' figures as such, although because we are human some will inevitably sneak in. Several other manufacturers produce truly excellent 'personality' models that are compatible with our ranges. These figures can be used as centerpieces around which larger, hopefully CFM, armies can be built. Another important aspect of CFM is a desire wherever possible to keep our prices to a reasonable level. We really want to offer wargamers the opportunity to amass large armies without breaking the bank when doing so and will attempt to set our prices accordingly.

Initially our ranges will represent figures mostly from the Colonial era, although the eagle-eyed will notice a 20mm Viet-Cong on our list, an example of whimsy overcoming our sculptor. We will expand the range gradually, a description of future plans can be found at the end of the lists. Please feel free to contact CFM with any queries you might have.
