Origins 1985
Convention Report

Introduction

Anne F. Jaffe

Origins XI held at Towson State University, Towson, Maryland, June 27th-30th was not marred by large inconveniences, bad weather or spectacular successes. It was, in short, enjoyed by those attending. The dealer room while well attended was adequately large enough for people to move around easily. The game events began when scheduled, were run by knowledgeable referees and covered a wide variety of games. GAME NEWS asked some of its reviewers and staff to report on the activities they experienced as well as their opinions on the convention. Bob Bodine reports on the dealers' room; Bill Jaffe, the auctions; and Sam Baker, the miniatures' room.
