Of course there is one "First" Division missing the 1 DCR (1re Division Cuirassee). Rightly so, because although the constituent parts exist the 4-2-8* 1/1 DCR (with 70 heavy B.1 tanks), and the 2-8* 2/1 DCR (with 90 H.30 medium tanks) the formation had only been created in January, and its tank battalions had previously operated in an infantry support role. But it is pleasant for a French player to contemplate what will happen if the German will only leave him alone for a bit. After all, by the end of 1941 he will have 18 good tank and mechanized divisions and 9 excellent motorized ones. Just let the German try knocking THAT out in two turns. Who knows, in some Grand Europa campaign the First Divisions talked about here might have a battle-history as good as the "Big Red One" or the 1st Guards Motorized Rifle Division!
