Civitavecchia: Smile When You Say That

by Frank Watson

I'm not even going to try to describe the various verbal mutilations I've heard describing hex 26:1427, also written Civitavecchia, but many of them have come from my own mouth.

Webster's Collegiate Dictionary says its should be:

    CHEE-vee-tah VECK-yah

with the VECK accented more strongly than the CHEE. That might not be exactly the way an Italian would say it (we should have asked the Italian playtesters), but it's probably better than what you've been saying.
